At each GCP location, Ohio University students partner with foreign business students to research and propose solutions for real local companies, learning problem-solving techniques and gaining international consulting experience. 

1-hour mandatory language & culture course takes place Spring Quarter. As soon as final-exams are over in the spring, the students begin an intensive one-week training program (aka, "pre-week") in Athens. 

Once at the site, the students meet with their teams and with the senior management of the company to which they have been assigned, and continue working with them over the next ten days. The faculty who travel with the students serve as mentors, helping students to focus on the project that they have been assigned as well as helping them work through the dynamics of a multi-cultural, multi-lingual team environment.
