Dr. Lou Receives Tenure

Congratulations to Dr. Hao Lou for receiving promotion to Full Professor fo MIS effective September, 2004. Dr. Lou joined the MIS department in 1993 as a visiting professor and was placed on tenure track in 1996. During his probationary period, Dr. Lou taught courses in Microcomputer applications and business information systems and developed a highly successful course in Lotus Notes which is one of the most popular courses in the major and recognized as highly innovative by employers hiring MIS graduates. He has also taught in the highly regarded Business 20/20 core course, the MBA Without Boundaries, the Executive MBA progam in Lancaster and several overseas MBA programs in Malaysia and China. He has also been instrumental in creating several programs for Chinese Executives offered by the College of Business.

This award and promotion indicates that the MIS department and the College of Business place a high value on Dr. Lou's performance and future potential as a faculty member in MIS.
