Program Design
The Professional MBA Program is a part-time program that makes it possible for individuals to earn the M.B.A. degree while fully employed.
Through the use of three types of class sessions, all complemented and supported by a Web-based learning platform, individuals are able to derive the maximum educational benefit with minimal interruption to professional and personal obligations.
- Evening classes meet from 7:30 to 10:45 p.m. one night per week and cohort members attend at their home campus - one of Ohio University's campuses or a partner site. Cohort members are connected - visually and audibly - through interactive television.
- Saturday residencies are held once a month. Saturday residencies meet for the entire day (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
- Weekend residencies consist of all day (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) sessions on both Friday and Saturday. The PMBA Program begins with a weekend residency and concludes with a weekend residency. In between, weekend residencies occur at the intersection of quarters, i.e. where one quarter ends and the next quarter begins.
