Marketing Instructor Receives Faculty-Staff Contribution Award

Every year, the Society of Alumni and Friends (SAF) calls for nominations for the Faculty-Staff Contribution Award from currently enrolled College of Business students. At the Annual Award Banquet on May 15, the 2009 Faculty-Staff Contribution Award went to College of Business Marketing instructor Jamie Carter.
A two-time Ohio University alumna, Carter attended the Ohio University Zanesville Campus on a two-year scholarship before transferring to the main campus in Athens where she continued her student career in the College of Business. She accepted leadership positions in the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor Society, where she served as president and was involved in the Ohio University Equestrian Team and the Society for Advancement of Management. She graduated in 2003 with a B.B.A. in general business and was the recipient of the Executive Advisory Board Academic Excellence in General Business Award and the Hellebrandt Award. Read More
